As you add more ancestors to your tree, we’ll compare them to every family tree on Findmypast. When we think we’ve found a tree with some common ancestry, we’ll send you their deceased ancestors in the form of a tree-to-tree hint.
Once you receive one, you can review, accept or reject them in exactly the same way you would with other hints.
Tree-to-tree hints have helped people find parts of their ancestry they were unable to before. Plus, because they’re sourced from other Findmypast members, the information they contain has likely been checked and verified already.
